What happens to my original CV?
Tailor doesn’t overwrite it. It uses your CV as the source material and creates a separate tailored version aimed at the role you’re targeting, so your original stays as you wrote it.
Can I use the same CV for several different jobs?
Yes. Start from the same CV each time and paste a different job description — Tailor creates a separate tailored version for each role, so you can apply to several jobs from one underlying CV.
What counts as a CV download?
Downloading a tailored version as a PDF. New accounts get 3 free CV downloads, then 1 free CV every week, and purchased extra CVs can be used any time. Re-downloading the exact same saved version is free and doesn’t use another credit.
What happens to my CV data after I upload it?
Your CV text is stored with your account so you can return to your projects, and it is sent to an AI provider to produce the analysis and rewrite. Raw uploads aren’t kept on our servers, old drafts are cleaned up after 60 days, and deleting a project removes it immediately.
